Conveniently located directly across the street from the snowmobile trails, you can ride from our parking lot and conveniently leave your trailers across the street. The Old Forge trail system connects with all major trail systems in Central and Upstate New York with two shifts of trail grooming daily. The trail systems feature mountain and open powder riding.
McCauley
Mountain is located just 2.5 miles from Old Forge. The mountain offers 14 - 21 trails, 3,000 to 5,000 feet in length and a double chair lift, T-bar lifts and rope tow. It may not be the largest of ski areas, but it will offer a challenge to the best of skiers. McCauley Mountain also offers 20km of challenging cross country trails that are tracked and groomed, ranging from Novice to Expert. These trails are through some of the most beautiful woodlands in the Adirondack Mountains.
