When do you close?
The Water’s Edge Inn is open all year. Office hours during the Summer Season are 8AM – 10PM and during the Fall, Winter & Spring Seasons from 8AM - 8PM Mid-week and 8AM - 9PM Friday & Saturday.
Do you have an elevator?
No, we do not have an elevator.
What time is check in?
Check in is anytime after 3:00PM. We require your license plate and vehicle information at the time you check in.
What time is check out?
Check out is promptly at 11:00AM. There will be a charge of an additional nights stay for any guest checking out after 12:00PM.
What is your cancellation policy?
All reservations must be cancelled 5 days prior to your arrival for a refund of your deposit minus a $5 cancellation fee (Not including day of reservation). Any cancellation made within 5 days of arrival, not including day of arrival, will forfeit deposit. All cancellations must be made by 3:00pm. Cancellations must be made by phone for proper account verification. Email or voice mails will not be accepted.
What if there is no snow?
If there is no snow or bad trail conditions you can immediately re-schedule your reservation one time for $5, however no refunds are issued after the 5 day cancellation mark.
Do you offer an AAA or any other discounts?
We do not offer a AAA or AARP discount. However, in the Summer we offer the Discounted Stay 'N Play package, and in the Fall for seniors ages 65 and older we will be offering a 10% discount on any Sunday - Thursday Non-Holiday stay. Continuing for the 2013/2014 Winter Season we are also offering a 10% discount if you belong to New York State Snowmobile Association when you present the card at Check In.
How many people are allowed in each room?
By New York State Fire Code 5 guests maximum are allowed in each room regardless of age. The only exception to this rule would be our two bedroom suites; The Governor Suite and Mountainview Suite can accommodate 6 guests.
Do you allow pets in your hotel?
As much as we love animals, in an effort to help us provide the cleanest and most sanitary accommodations available, pets are not permitted. Anyone discovered with an animal in their room will be charged $150 cleaning surcharge. We would be glad to help you with other accommodations for your pets.
Is Smoking allowed in the hotel?
No, Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the hotel. Smoking is now prohibited within any company owned buildings including: hallways, guest rooms, lobbies, meeting rooms, offices, restrooms, and all community areas. In order to protect employees, visitors, and guests from second hand smoke; smoking is now prohibited on all balconies and within 25 feet from all entrances of the building. If you must smoke, please do so in an area that does not obstruct access to or from our premises. There is a $250 fee for smoking in the building.
Do you offer packages that include admission to the Enchanted Forest Water Safari?
Yes! We offer Stay 'N Play Packages; they are available Sunday through Thursday. Packages include a discount on accommodations and tickets to the Enchanted Forest/Water Safari. For more information click here or give us a call at 315-369-2484.
Do you offer discount tickets to the Enchanted Forest Water Safari?
Yes, we do offer tickets for $25.00 for anyone ages 3 years and older. We require payment in full and they are non-refundable.
Do you have boat rentals?
No, but we would be glad to refer you to an area business that does.
Do you have a swimming pool?
Yes, we have an indoor heated pool and dry sauna. Our pool is open during the daily 9AM - 9PM during the Summer and on weekends, during our Fall, Winter & Value Seasons the pool is open 9AM - 8PM. There is no lifeguard on duty, all children must be accompanied by an adult.
Do you have a beach? Is swimming allowed off the docks?
No, we do not have a beach and we do not recommend swimming from our docks due to the tour boat traffic. There is a municipal beach just a short walk from us.
Do you have dock spaces for guests?
Yes, dock space is available on a first come, first serve basis.
Do you have an exercise facility?
Center is open daily during the Summer Season from 9AM – 10PM and during the Fall, Winter & Spring Seasons from 9AM - 9PM.
Can you have a campfire or grill onsite?
Campfires and grilling of any kind are prohibited on our premises.
Do you have cable TV in the rooms? Do you have HBO and/or pay-per-view movies?
We offer 76 cable channels. Unfortunately at this time we do not offer HBO or pay-per-view movies.
Do you have a fax machine available for guest use?
Yes, fax service is available at the front desk for a nominal fee.
Do you offer internet access?
Yes, we have free wireless internet access available throughout the building.
Is the parking lot plowed in the winter?
Yes, our grounds crew plows on a daily basis; a base is left for the snowmobiles to travel safely.
Is gasoline available for purchase?
During the Winter Season we sell High Octane Gasoline to our snowmobiling guests directly across the street.
Do you have air conditioners in the rooms?
Yes, each room has its own air conditioner and heat.
Is there a shower or a bathtub in the room?
All of our rooms are equipped with a shower/tub combination.
Is there wildlife on your grounds?
Many wild animals make their home in the
Park including Black Bears, white-tailed deer, raccoons, geese, chipmunks, squirrels, fox and many more. All wildlife should be observed at a distance. Pictures are the best way to remember your sighting!
Are you allowed to feed the wildlife?
No, please do not feed the wildlife, as feeding them contributes to larger issues*. They should continue to forage for their own food.
*In order to keep our grounds as clean as possible we ask that you refrain from feeding and/or petting all wildlife including Canadian Geese, White-Tailed Deer, Squirrels and Chipmunks. There are strictly enforced penalties for feeding wildlife including but not limited to a $250.00 fine and up to 15 days in jail.
Do you accept personal checks?
No, we do not accept personal checks. We accept money orders, cash, traveler's checks & credit cards.
Which credit cards do you accept?
We accept MasterCard, Discover and Visa. We do not accept American Express.
Do you have gift certificates?
Yes, we have Gift Certificates avaialable in any denomination you can stop by our front desk or call 315-369-2484 to purchase.
Do I need a reservation to stay at your hotel?
Reservations are not required, but recommended. Advance booking is suggested for our busy Summer Season, especially on weekends and holidays.
How far in advance do I need to make a reservation?
We accept reservations up to a one year in advance. We require the first nights stay as a deposit to secure your reservation at the time of booking. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover or you may send in a Money Order (WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS OR AMERICAN EXPRESS). Due to the popularity of our hotel, we suggest that you make a reservation several months in advance, especially during our peak seasons.
Can I request a specific room?
You can request a specific room type but we do not guarantee specific room numbers. We do our best to honor your requests; however our first priority is providing guests with health issues the most convenient location, as we do not have an elevator. Secondly keeping families & groups together, we also consider the length of our guests stay. Your deposit guarantees you a type of room, not a specific room number. We may have to relocate your room due to these reasons. Thank you for your understanding.
Do you have a restaurant onsite?
No, unfortunately Riley's closed a number of years ago. However there are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance or just a short drive away. Complimentary continental breakfast is available daily.
How many s do you allow per room?
Our hotel parking lot allows for one car per room, however there is ample parking available directly across the street in the winter season. During the off-season, space permitting, we allow two s per room. All
s and trailers must be registered, as parking is by permit only, all others will be towed at the owner's expense.
Do you have parking for snowmobile trailers?
Yes, parking for snowmobile trailers is available directly across the street in EF/WS parking lot. Plate numbers for both trailers and s are required.
Do you offer weekly or seasonal rates?
Water’s Edge does not offer weekly or seasonal rates on our regular rooms or suites. However we are offering North Street Duplexes which are located directly on the Town of Webb Snowmobile Trail System, these are reasonably priced at $450 per night or $2,500 weekly. Our sister site The Old Forge Camping Resort does offer winter rentals, for information please call 1-800-CAMPING.
